Professional Bio

I am a first-year student in the IUG program where I am finishing my undergraduate degrees in Labor and Human Resources and Spanish while also pursuing my master’s degree in Human Resources and Employment Relations at Penn State. I will graduate with my bachelor’s degree in May 2024 and my master’s in May 2025.

In addition to my studies, I work as a Peer Career Assistant at The Bank of America Career Services Center on campus where I review my peers' resumes and cover letters as well as conduct mock interviews. I am also actively involved in four campus organizations including serving as the president of the Penn State Chapter of The Society for Human Resource Management, the treasurer of Penn State College of the Liberal Arts Ambassadors, an active member of The Penn State Spanish Club, and a worship team member and Bible study leader for DiscipleMakers Christian Fellowship.

I have completed a human resources internship at Braathe Enterprises where I was quickly promoted to Team Lead and improved my recruiting, training, and performance evaluation skills. In the future, I hope to secure a job as a Human Resources Manager at a company that encourages employee development and engagement. I also would love to use my Spanish skills to facilitate conversations with native Spanish-speaking employees. This past summer I completed two study abroad programs in Spain to help increase my Spanish fluency.
