Professional Bio
Brian is currently working as a university extension specialist in the School of Labor and Industrial Relations at the University of the Philippines Diliman (UP SOLAIR). He is currently assigned in the Center for Industry Productivity and Competitiveness in UP SOLAIR. He serves as a coordinator and facilitator of different training and extension programs of the school including but not limited to: Certificate Course in Industrial Relations and Human Resources, Worker Institute of Labor Laws, and the ENGAGE Asia Program.
He is involved in different qualitative and quantitative research projects of the school as a research co-author or primary investigator of published articles dealing with different topics such as: knowledge management, organizational culture, productivity and competitiveness, performance management, platform work, social protection, etc. He also has published works on disaster risk reduction research using participatory action research methods.
Brian obtained his undergraduate degree in electrical engineering and master's degree in education in the University of the Philippines Diliman. He is currently taking his Master of Professional Studies in Labor and Global Workers’ Rights at the Penn State School of Labor and Employment Relations.
