With over ten years of experience advocating for workers' rights at the Public Utility Workers Union in the Ashanti Region, she commenced her career as a Branch Youth Representative in 2010. Throughout her professional journey, Adelaide has assumed various leadership positions, including Branch Chairperson and Vice Chairperson of the Ashanti Production Senior Staff Union. Her educational background includes a Diploma in Business Studies and a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting, which has enhanced her analytical capabilities and informed her financial decision-making processes.

Adelaide's commitment to worker empowerment is demonstrated through initiatives such as her leadership of a training program in collaboration with the ILO C190 initiative, aimed at fostering harassment-free workplaces. Additionally, she has successfully completed a six-week intensive course titled "Workers Rising Everywhere," part of the "Organizing for Power" training program for global activists. Her primary motivation for engaging in the LGWR program is to acquire the skills and knowledge necessary to effect substantive change in labor rights and gender equality.
