Dr. Elaine Farndale, our School Director and CIHRS Director, was accompanied by Cara Adrien, CIHRS Research and Data Coordinator to facilitate the most recent CRANET meeting in Subotica, Serbia. We want to give a special shoutout to our CRANET research members from the Faculty of Economics in Subotica (University of Novi Sad) for hosting the CRANET Research Network and for organizing a very successful conference!
The CRANET Research Network, or CRANET for short, launched in 1989 to meet the need for ready access to information on best practices and comparative performance in human resource management (HRM) within Europe. Now global in scale, CRANET is an established research collaboration with a proven track record of collecting powerful, representative data, on a continuing basis; undertaking rigorous analysis, and disseminating high-quality results.

The meeting coincided with the 28th International Scientific Conference Strategic Management and Decision Support Systems in Strategic Management put on by the Faculty of Economics in Subotica (University of Novi Sad). CRANET Research Network members presented on their work using the CRANET international data that was collected in 2021-22 and Dr. Elaine Farndale presented a keynote speech on: Economic challenges and their implications on strategic human resource management.
