School of LER to Hold Undergrad Meeting Oct. 14

October 20, 2020

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - For more than seventy-five years, the School of Labor and Employment Relations has been making workplaces better places through teaching, research, outreach, and service. We empower our students to meet challenges head on and to become professionals in a wide range of Human Resource (HR) and Employment Relations (ER) careers.

Are you curious about the world of work – and how you can improve it? Feeling worried that the pandemic could threaten your future internships and career prospects? Want to join a major or minor that helps students overcome today’s challenges and become successful professionals?

Join us Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at 7:00 p.m., for an undergraduate information session designed for all our prospective and current Labor and Human Resource majors and minors. Interact with our faculty and staff and get a chance to meet other LHR students! Bring your competitive side, too – we’ll start the evening off with an ice breaker and the winning team will receive School of LER swag.

Wondering why you should attend? If you have questions about our career opportunities or internships, study abroad, embedded courses, our integrated undergraduate-graduate programs, or honors offerings, this is the time to learn more! You’ll have the chance to meet our academic advisors and career counselor who can help you make the most of your time at Penn State. If you’re looking for opportunities to get involved, you’ll hear about our student clubs, SHRM-SLER and USAS/SWAPS. And did you know LHR can be a great foundation for law school? We’ll wrap up the evening with a Q&A session!

Please complete this short survey, https://bit.ly/Undergrad1014, to receive the Zoom information to attend the session. We’re looking forward to meeting you!
