Our students from the Master of Professional Studies (MPS) in Labor and Global Workers’ Rights (LGWR) participated in the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) Healthcare PA Leadership Assembly last week! It was also the 50th anniversary of the SEIU Healthcare PA union.

LGWR student, Mercy Nabwire, union member of the Kenya Medical Practitioners, Pharmacists and Dentists, gave a speech sharing her personal experiences to the general assembly. All LGWR students participated in union leadership workshops related to embracing diversity, women leading women, politics, digital organizing, and more.
