2023 LGWR Graduate Sifat Amita Showcases Worker Rights Progress at 8th Regulating for Decent Work Conference in Geneva

Sifat Amita, a 2023 graduate LGWR student, joined the 8th Regulating for Decent Work Conference held by the International Labour Organization in Geneva from July 10 to 12. Sifat presented some of the most paradigmatic cases of worker voice through Enforceable Brand Agreements such as the Bangladesh/International Accord, the Fruit of the Loom agreement (Honduras), the Lesotho Agreements on freedom of association rights and the elimination of gender-based violence at work, the India Dindigul Agreement, and the Pakistan Accord (Conference Agenda).
