If you are a Labor Studies, LIR, LER, or LHR alumnus or alumnae, we invite you to re-engage with our program through volunteering your time, talent, or treasure. Your involvement can make an impactful and lasting difference in the lives and careers of the students who have followed you in the program.
Volunteer your Time
The School of LER eagerly seeks alumni support for our Student Mentorship Program. Each semester, we invite Human Resources or Labor Leaders to dedicate three to five hours of their time mentoring a student with shared interests. Additional volunteering opportunities include participating in panel discussions or speaking engagements, either virtually or in person, and acting as a guest speaker in LHR or HRER classes. Join us in shaping the future of our students’ careers!
Volunteer your Talents
For instance, there might be a particular research area or faculty member seeking expertise and insights from alumni like you. Additionally, each semester, we organize student field trips, offering opportunities for local Human Resource or Labor leaders to volunteer and highlight their organizations.
Volunteer your Treasures
What two or three things are you looking to fund as a priority? Is there something tangible where you would want to take individuals from a general awareness or desire to give and direct it towards a specific area of intent? If so, please consider sharing this treasured work with students and faculty.
