The School of Labor and Employment Relations has almost 3,000 alumni. Most of our alumni have pursued careers related to human resources, employment relations, and labor. Graduates are leaders in their field and work for multinational corporations, family businesses, local and international unions, national law firms, medical centers, universities, and government agencies.
School of LER graduates are among the most committed and loyal alumni at the University. Many remain engaged with the school long after graduation. Their professional experience is a tremendous resource for our current students and faculty. Alumni give back to our program by serving as members of the Alumni Board of Directors. They regularly come back to campus to speak to classes or conduct sessions with our students on careers, job search strategies, and other relevant topics. They sponsor internships for students and contact the school when they have job openings. They serve as resume reviewers to make sure our students put their best foot forward when they search for internships or jobs. Finally, they regularly make financial contributions directed to the school which enable us to enrich the experience of our students in countless ways.
If you are a Labor Studies, LIR, LER, or LHR alumnus or alumnae, we invite you to re-engage with our program. Your involvement can make a difference in the lives and careers of the students who have followed you in the program.
