Professional Bio

I am a first year IUG student enrolled in the B.S. in Psychology with the Business Option and M.S. in Human Resources and Employment Relations (HRER) option. Being an IUG student allows me to complete both degrees in a five-year span, setting me up to earn my B.S in May of 2023 and my M.S. in May of 2024. The IUG program equips students with many resources, such as networking events and seminars, that assist me as I begin to prepare to enter the field of Human Resources.

In addition to my participation in the IUG program, I am involved with two clubs on campus, PSI CHI - The International Honor Society in Psychology and SHRM - The Society of Human Resource Management. These clubs provide additional space for me to grow my knowledge of Human Resources in various ways, such as hosting network events, bringing in guest speakers, or sharing research and internship opportunities.

While I complete my education, I also plan to continue my internship at Minitab as a Talent Acquisition Intern. This position has given me the chance to apply my education to various real-life situations. Some of the experiences I have gained so far in my internship include, recruiting candidates, interviewing candidates, preparing feedback forms, collecting internship program metrics, and preparing for campus recruiting events.
