Professional Bio

Alejandra Flores Mejía is a Honduran feminist lawyer. In Honduras, she volunteered with human rights organizations and interned with international organizations including the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights and the Center for Justice and International Law. She worked from 2021 until 2023 with a labor organization, the Solidarity Center, in Honduras as an assistant lawyer. 

Currently, she is a graduate student in the master’s program in Labor Global Workers’ Rights at the Pennsylvania State University. As part of her work in the program, she is a research assistant to professors Mark Anner and Matthew Fischer-Daly.  Some of her interests include labor in the social movements, labor and gender, and labor in the gig economy.
