Maja Vidovic, Ph.D. is an Assistant Teaching Professor of Human Resource Management at the Center for International Human Resource Studies (CIHRS).

Maja (read as Maya) earned her Ph.D. in 2013 and M.Sc. in 2008, both from the Faculty of Economics & Business at the University of Zagreb in Croatia. She switched continents to do her post-doc at Penn State’s School of Labor and Employment Relations in 2014/2015. Her research focuses on HRM topics with an international flavor, and the ones that look at employee performance and well-being. She is an active partner in Cranet network, where she represented both Croatian and the USA team.

Maja is especially enthusiastic about teaching and fostering students’ overall success. She typically uses a flipped classroom approach for her residential teachings, and enjoys the limitless opportunities of online teaching.
