Professional Bio

Katherine Schlegel is a senior at Penn State University in the Schreyer Honors

College and IUG Program. In May 2022, she will graduate with her bachelor’s degree in Labor and Human Resources, along with minors in Communication Arts & Sciences and Dispute Management & Resolution. She will graduate with her master’s degree in Human Resources & Employment Relations in Spring 2023.

During Summer 2021, Katherine completed a Talent Management & Organizational Development internship with CAES. She had the opportunity to work with various stakeholders to design and present trainings, project proposals, and organization-wide communications. The previous summer, Katherine interned with Allan Myers under the Director of Talent. She has also worked as both a scheduling intern for Movers Specialty Service and a legal intern for Nocchi Law.

At Penn State, Katherine is currently working on her honors thesis and held several leadership positions in her sorority, Phi Sigma Sigma. For the past four years, she has been involved with the Academic Integrity Committee for the College of the Liberal Arts and the SHRM Student Chapter. Her career interests include strategic staffing, talent management, and total rewards. Katherine is eager to gain more experience in the field of HRM and begin providing support to organizations.
