Scott Rochman, a sophomore in labor and human resources, was selected as the Best Speaker for the undergraduate division during Purdue University’s annual HR Case Competition. Ten universities and approximately sixty other competitors participated in the competition.

LER Alumna Lisette Garcia named assistant VP of diversity, inclusion and belonging

Garcia is an alumna of the School of LER - she received her doctorate in sociology from Ohio State and her master’s degree in sociology from Virginia Tech. She also holds two bachelor’s degrees, one in labor and industrial relations and another in sociology from Penn State.
