We recently started the fall 2020 semester here at Penn State University Park. This semester will be different from every other previous semester in the history of Penn State. While the semester will be different, our school’s goal remains the same—make sure that every student in every class has the best experience possible. Our faculty have been working hard to make sure this is the case.

LER classes, like all others at the University, will take one of the following instructional modes: in-person instruction, online instruction, or mixed-mode (a combination of in-person and online) instruction.  The University has spent an enormous amount of time developing a plan to open the campus for the fall semester and has contingency plans in place for the many different scenarios we might see play out. To have a successful semester, faculty and students will need to be flexible so we can change and adapt at short notice.
