Hi! I'm a first-year Human Resources and Employment Relations IUG Master's student from Beijing, China and I'm currently a senior double majoring in Psychology (B.S., business option) and Labor & Employment Relations (B.S.) with a minor in Korean.

My research interest is leadership in the workplace, so I am currently working as a research assistant in Leadership and Innovation Lab in department of psychology. Last year, I have been working on “Creativity in Leadership”; basically, I helped the graduate student administrate the experiment using laboratory equipment and code and enter research data to analyze information for the study. Our efforts have paid off and my group leader published the research’s result at the 32nd Annual Conference of the SIOP (Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology). I will be working on “Dual Leadership”, a new but very interesting research project this year and hopefully, I could start my own research next semester!

My internship experiences included the administrative internship in a mental health center (2017), the HR internship in a medical Inc. (2016) and another administrative internship in a creativity center (2014). In my last Human Resources Internship at LHCX Medical Inc., in Beijing, I was part of a team responsible for recruiting employees. I worked successfully in reviewing an average of 10-15 applicants’ resumes per day and conducting interviews with selected candidates. I also designed and evaluated the pre-employment personality test to assist with identifying the most appropriate candidates.

As I continue to develop as a student and aspiring HR professionals, I am very open to different HR internship opportunities and will be eager to learn more during the future internships.
