Erica is in her fifth year of the Integrated Graduate/Undergraduate program, pursing a Bachelor’s degree in Labor and Employment Relations and a Master’s degree in Human Resources and Employment Relations. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management in May of 2016. She worked as a learning and development intern in the human resources department at Hilton Worldwide Corporate Headquarters. In this role she was able to cultivate a passion for training and professional development and developed her skills in project management, Microsoft Office, and client relations. She excelled in this internship and was asked to return in the same role the following summer.
During her 5 years at Penn State, Erica has been an extremely involved student. She was an active member in her sorority, Zeta Tau Alpha, where she held several positions and dedicated extensive amounts of time to THON fundraising efforts. To satisfy the 1,000 hour work requirement for the Hospitality Management major, she worked as a banquet server at the Nittany Lion Inn and was a front desk intern at the Penn Stater Conference Center Hotel.
Erica is a very ambitious and motivated individual. She is action oriented and a quick learner. She has a great passion for human resources and strives to demonstrate the competitive advantage that can be gained by utilizing strategic human resource management. She is open to all job options within human resources and is looking forward to starting her career in this exciting field!
