Biography:

I am a second year graduate student from Nigeria and I am currently pursuing a Master of Science in Human Resources and Employment Relations degree here at Penn State University. I completed my undergraduate study at the University of Ghana where I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. My undergraduate education exposed me to various aspects of human behavior and helped me narrow my interests from applied psychology in general to applied psychology in business and the workplace.

This past summer, I had the pleasure of interning at Microsoft as an HR Manager supporting the Cloud and Enterprise business. My role gave me exposure to various aspects of HR such as Talent Management, Employee Relations and Diversity and Inclusion. In this role, I learned how to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment and how to be flexible and adapt in the changing circumstances. I also developed skills in taking a data driven approach to solving problems.

Professionally, I am interested in developing and implementing strategies that will leverage individual competences in maximizing business outcomes.
